Bradley Savic who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Bressail McDonald when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Beag Dimson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tate McOliver in the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Tate McOliver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corlisheen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tate McOliver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tate McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ballyorney's Beag Dimson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaine Kelly in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torey Scully stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Kaine Kelly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beag Dimson having to interfere. The Corlisheen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
