Berke Hughes started the match with the kick off. Breslin McBrand kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Beag Dimson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dewain McJohnny in the 4th minute of play. Cum's Dewain McJohnny got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berke Hughes took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beag Dimson. Beag Dimson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Dewain McJohnny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beag Dimson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dewain McJohnny in the 23rd minute of the match. Berke Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beag Dimson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dewain McJohnny, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of Ballyorney booed when Cum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bow McJon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cum's Banbhan McLiam got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beag Dimson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dewain McJohnny, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Berke Hughes might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beag Dimson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berke Hughes ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Torey Scully made the kick off in the second half. Dewain McJohnny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Beag Dimson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berke Hughes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Beag Dimson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Beag Dimson was a little too slow when Berke Hughes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-2. Brendann Cronin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradley Savic, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berke Hughes in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beag Dimson saved Ballyorney from getting behind. Dewain McJohnny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beag Dimson having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Ballyorney's goal looked a bit too open when Berke Hughes came free, but Beag Dimson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bradley Savic scored 1-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brendann Cronin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cum played a much better game than Ballyorney and deserved their victory. The Ballyorney players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
