Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edwin Morrison got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adamnan McBrand during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Skeagh Utd's Adamnan McBrand got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 13th minute, Barran Morrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harrigan McWill took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tory McDonald. Tory McDonald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaynor Bayes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tory McDonald. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Edwin Morrison's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Tory McDonald skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 38th match minute, Skeagh Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrence Kelly to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Redford AFC booed when Skeagh Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrence Kelly didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Barran Morrison made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Redford AFC's Finian Murphy got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Finian Murphy hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Philip Palmer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tory McDonald. Redford AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Gaynor Bayes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaynor Bayes struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Tory McDonald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skeagh Utd. In the 73rd minute Gaynor Bayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tory McDonald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caoilte Beckett kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The Skeagh Utd fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Skeagh Utd's Edwin Morrison looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Edwin Morrison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tory McDonald was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Edwin Morrison scored 4-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tory McDonald, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Skeagh Utd were the better team. Skeagh Utd's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
