Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) Annesbrook's Pearce Horgan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bressail McDonald stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shey McFrancise's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Pearce Horgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bressail McDonald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Pearce Horgan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Annesbrook's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pearce Horgan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tate McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd match minute, Annesbrook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Banon McSteven to maneuver through the defense. Bressail McDonald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pearce Horgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Annesbrook's Coran Mulvihill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaine Kelly in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Annesbrook's Banon McSteven got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match, Tate McOliver got a very nice opportunity to score, but Coran Mulvihill was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Shey McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shey McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bressail McDonald having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaine Kelly stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shey McFrancise got free with Bressail McDonald in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the match, Annesbrook's goal looked a bit too open when Tate McOliver came free, but Coran Mulvihill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kaine Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Coran Mulvihill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaine Kelly in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Annesbrook booed when Corlisheen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sameer Colwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bressail McDonald came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Annesbrook's Pearce Horgan. But to his dismay, Pearce Horgan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 81st minute Pearce Horgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bressail McDonald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shey McFrancise was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Annesbrook's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Shey McFrancise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pearce Horgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes Corlisheen got a freekick which was hit by Ryley McAlphie. Bantry Gillmour struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Bressail McDonald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Annesbrook. Annesbrook played a much better game than Corlisheen and deserved their victory. The Corlisheen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
