When Shey McFrancise came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Annesbrook fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shey McFrancise couldn't finish the play. Bercan McJames blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Coran Mulvihill having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bercan McJames in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Coran Mulvihill saved Annesbrook from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Ryan McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Coran Mulvihill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coran Mulvihill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan McDecland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pearce Horgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cormac McStephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryan McDecland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th match minute, Annesbrook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewy Lavine to maneuver through the defense. Shey McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cormac McStephen having to interfere.
