Pearce Horgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beag Dimson having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Ballyorney's Torey Scully sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Coran Mulvihill narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Coran Mulvihill came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballyorney's Bradley Savic. But to his dismay, Bradley Savic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Torey Scully struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Coran Mulvihill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballyorney. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pearce Horgan in the 22nd minute of play forced Ballyorney's goalkeeper Beag Dimson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beag Dimson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shey McFrancise in the 24th minute of the match. Beag Dimson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pearce Horgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Ballyorney got a freekick which was hit by Baolach Walker. Bradley Savic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coran Mulvihill having to interfere. If Pearce Horgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute of the match Alexander Cassin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beag Dimson skillfully saved the ball. Beag Dimson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shey McFrancise in the 45th minute of the match. Baolach Walker came free with the goalkeeper in the 49th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Coran Mulvihill could save by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torey Scully to strike the kick off in the second half. Torey Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Torey Scully came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ballyorney fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torey Scully couldn't finish the play. Pearce Horgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Beag Dimson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Ballyorney:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Annesbrook:s goal. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Annesbrook. Alexander Cassin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Beag Dimson. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Annesbrook's zone, Bradley Savic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Coran Mulvihill came out of the goal and Bradley Savic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lewy Lavine charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lewy Lavine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Annesbrook got a freekick which was hit by Lewy Lavine. Coran Mulvihill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torey Scully, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Annesbrook's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bras Tracy was slow to take the kick. During this time Ballyorney's players had a chance to rest. Bradley Savic struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute Pearce Horgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beag Dimson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Banon McSteven kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Coran Mulvihill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torey Scully in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, Annesbrook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Banon McSteven to maneuver through the defense.
