Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) When Conor McVictor came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Shronowen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conor McVictor couldn't finish the play. Ravan McJohn hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Bressail McDonald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bedilia McPhil in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Corlisheen getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Daithi Gollogley hit a great ball. Toren Grant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sameer Colwell's late challenge caught a Shronowen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sameer Colwell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Sameer Colwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Corlisheen's zone, Conor McVictor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bressail McDonald came out of the goal and Conor McVictor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corlisheen's Bressail McDonald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conor McVictor in the 37th minute of play. After 41st play minutes Kaine Kelly shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Bevan McNamara and just under the crossbar into goal. Bressail McDonald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toren Grant in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaine Kelly was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Bedilia McPhil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Conor McVictor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shronowen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conor McVictor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conor McVictor struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Bressail McDonald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shronowen. 66 minutes into the match, Shronowen's Conor McVictor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bressail McDonald narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bressail McDonald came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Shronowen's Bedilia McPhil. But to his dismay, Bedilia McPhil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Bedilia McPhil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Conor McVictor fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toren Grant during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Toren Grant kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Conor McVictor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bressail McDonald having to interfere. Conor McVictor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Bressail McDonald made a huge save. Ravan McJohn kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Shronowen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Corlisheen.
