Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Torey Scully took the kick off in the first half of the match. Shronowen's Conor McVictor got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brendann Todd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beag Dimson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bedilia McPhil's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conor McVictor in the 20th minute of play forced Ballyorney's goalkeeper Beag Dimson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Shronowen's Bedilia McPhil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beag Dimson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 28 played minutes Ballyorney got a freekick which was hit by Paudraig Lavine. In the 32nd minute, Conor McVictor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 34 played minutes Shronowen got a freekick which was hit by Brendann Todd. Bras Tracy was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Bedilia McPhil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conor McVictor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Beag Dimson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedilia McPhil in the 47th minute of play forced Ballyorney's goalkeeper Beag Dimson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Bedilia McPhil made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyorney's zone, Conor McVictor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beag Dimson came out of the goal and Conor McVictor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beag Dimson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bedilia McPhil in the 57th minute of the match. Conor McVictor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 minutes, Baolach Walker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballyorney and the Shronowen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baolach Walker kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Rowley Ryan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torey Scully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bevan McNamara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Toren Grant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beag Dimson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torey Scully in the 81st minute of play forced Shronowen's goalkeeper Bevan McNamara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorcan Rogers charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorcan Rogers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Ballyorney got a freekick which was hit by Lorcan Rogers. Beag Dimson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bedilia McPhil in the 87th minute of the match. A hard shot 89 in the game by Conor McVictor from a close distance when the talented Beag Dimson managed to make a qualified save. Ballyorney's players were relieved. The supporters of Ballyorney booed when Shronowen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bevan McSteve didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Shronowen's Ferdia Walker got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
