Baran Quinnless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darby McStephen got free with Boru Savic in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fachtna McWilliam kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Breccan Dillon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tap's supporters rose to their feet, but Breccan Dillon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boru Savic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Skeagh Utd's Cacey Tracy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baran Quinnless narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Skeagh Utd booed when Tap was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herich Delaney didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tap getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Breccan Dillon hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Beacan Todd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Skeagh Utd's Cacey Tracy in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tap's goalie prevented a goal. Begley McCready charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Begley McCready the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tap's Herich Delaney got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Edwin Morrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Skeagh Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Cacey Tracy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baran Quinnless was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edwin Morrison showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 55 minute of play. Brennan Sheridan kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Tap's Breccan Dillon got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Breccan Dillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baran Quinnless showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lawrence Kelly in the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Breccan Dillon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tap's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breccan Dillon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Breccan Dillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boru Savic having to interfere. Baran Quinnless made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Cacey Tracy sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Skeagh Utd had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
