Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donegal McLiam kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Fiachra Taylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loughlin McJon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donelle Prunty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Coalbrook FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fiachra Taylor came free, but Loughlin McJon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Fiachra Taylor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Loughlin McJon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Coalbrook FC's Donegal McLiam in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kilcorney's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abbot Matthews during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Donegal McLiam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donelle Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Donelle Prunty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brite Gough made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Donelle Prunty sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Branagain McBrandon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kilcorney's Bar Grant shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 51st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Loughlin McJon but with some difficulty. In the 54th minute, Donelle Prunty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Coalbrook FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Donegal McLiam hit a great ball. When Branagain McBrandon fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kilcorney's protests and gave Branagain McBrandon a yellow card for diving instead. Branagain McBrandon hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, Coalbrook FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donelle Prunty to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Donegal McLiam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coalbrook FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donegal McLiam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brite Gough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliver McBjarton kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Brite Gough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donelle Prunty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donelle Prunty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Brite Gough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brite Gough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donegal McLiam in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Branagain McBrandon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loughlin McJon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loughlin McJon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiachra Taylor, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Coalbrook FC's Donelle Prunty got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Branagain McBrandon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Donegal McLiam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of Kilcorney were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Coalbrook FC side.
