In the 6th minute, Bhrighde Brennan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Irving Rogers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bhrighde Brennan, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Pearson Bayes kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Caolán Martyn hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Braon McCollion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Loughlin McJon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Croithli AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bree McLian to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Pearson Bayes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Donegal McLiam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Begg Quinnless took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irving Rogers. Irving Rogers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Croithli AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Donegal McLiam 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Donelle Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Bhrighde Brennan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Irving Rogers. The goal made the score 4-0. After having played for 36 minutes, Donegal McLiam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coalbrook FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donegal McLiam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrew Hamilton hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Croithli AFC's Shamus McOliver got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd play minute Donelle Prunty came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Irving Rogers. 5-0. Bhrighde Brennan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irving Rogers having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Braon McCollion stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Croithli AFC's Bree McLian got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bhrighde Brennan in the 54th minute of play forced Croithli AFC's goalkeeper Irving Rogers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Croithli AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Donelle Prunty came free, but Irving Rogers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bree McLian was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. Bree McLian hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Bhrighde Brennan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Irving Rogers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Irving Rogers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donegal McLiam in the 67th minute of the match. Bhrighde Brennan hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Braon McCollion came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Croithli AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braon McCollion couldn't finish the play. Croithli AFC's Boylan McMichel got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Coalbrook FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justin McJohnny to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Coalbrook FC got a freekick which was hit by Justin McJohnny. Coalbrook FC's Loughlin McJon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearson Bayes in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Coalbrook FC's Donegal McLiam got a free kick in the 85th minute. Irving Rogers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donegal McLiam, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Coalbrook FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
