Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Branagain McBrandon got the match started through his kick off. Brasil Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branagain McBrandon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Brasil Robinson managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Kilcorney's Fiachra Taylor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Corrawaleen's Brasil Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branagain McBrandon in the 10th minute of play. Corrawaleen's Brasil Robinson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Corrawaleen from getting a goal against them. Branagain McBrandon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brasil Robinson having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Fiachra Taylor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilcorney's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fiachra Taylor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oliver McBjarton struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Brasil Robinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilcorney. Brasil Robinson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Branagain McBrandon went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Kilcorney getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Seosamh Cronin hit a great ball. Kevin Sheridan struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Brite Gough didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corrawaleen. Oliver McBjarton kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 32 played minutes Corrawaleen got a freekick which was hit by Loughlin Rutherford. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Branagain McBrandon in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brasil Robinson saved Corrawaleen from getting behind. In the 40th minute Branagain McBrandon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brasil Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brigid Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The wind increased when Kevin Sheridan made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Branagain McBrandon in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brasil Robinson saved Corrawaleen from getting behind. When Kilcorney's Fiachra Taylor in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corrawaleen's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Kilcorney's Oliver McBjarton got a free kick in the 57th minute. Brite Gough acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kevion Myler. Brasil Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branagain McBrandon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-2 became the score in the 72nd minute when Brigid Robinson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Kilcorney's Oliver McBjarton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brasil Robinson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fiachra Taylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brasil Robinson having to interfere.
