Croithli AFC's Irving Rogers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barclay Dempsey in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Brannagh Keegan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Irving Rogers. Croithli AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brannagh Keegan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Douglas Doyle lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Irving Rogers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brann Mullan, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Banban Glen Crowe struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Heremon McTommy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croithli AFC. After 14 played minutes Corcreeghagh Utd got a freekick which was hit by Barclay Dempsey. Irving Rogers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Dalton in the 16th minute of play. Irving Rogers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barclay Dempsey in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Banban Glen Crowe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Croithli AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corcreeghagh Utd the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barclay Dempsey in the 24th minute of play forced Croithli AFC's goalkeeper Irving Rogers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irving Rogers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toran John in the 29th minute of the match. Brann Mullan scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irving Rogers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braon McCollion to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brann Mullan got free with Irving Rogers in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Corcreeghagh Utd's Irving Rogers threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brannagh Keegan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Croithli AFC's Shamus McOliver got a free kick in the 78th minute. Irving Rogers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barclay Dempsey in the 92nd minute. Braon McCollion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heremon McTommy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
