Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) Corrawaleen's Kevin Sheridan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Brasil Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donelle Prunty in the 4th minute of the match. Donegal McLiam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loughlin McJon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brigid Robinson in the 8th minute. If Donelle Prunty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kevin Sheridan came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Corrawaleen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Sheridan couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bhrighde Brennan during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Coalbrook FC's Bhrighde Brennan got a free kick in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Coalbrook FC's Loughlin McJon got control of the ball when Brigid Robinson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Coalbrook FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Sheridan came free, but Loughlin McJon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corrawaleen's Brasil Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donegal McLiam in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Donelle Prunty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brasil Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, one of Coalbrook FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kevion Myler shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 33rd minute, Donelle Prunty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Donelle Prunty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corrawaleen's Brasil Robinson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Donegal McLiam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Brasil Robinson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Corrawaleen getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Bard McFrank hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donegal McLiam to make the kick off. If Donegal McLiam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derrick Molloy kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Donegal McLiam received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brasil Robinson came out and tried to block the shot, but Donegal McLiam slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 59th minute. Brasil Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donegal McLiam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th play minute Donelle Prunty came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Brasil Robinson. 0-3. In the 69th match minute, Corrawaleen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevion Myler to maneuver through the defense. When Baolach Gallagher came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Coalbrook FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baolach Gallagher couldn't finish the play. Loughlin Rutherford charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Loughlin Rutherford the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Loughlin Rutherford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd match minute, Corrawaleen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derrick Molloy to maneuver through the defense. Brasil Robinson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Baolach Gallagher. After 85 played minutes Corrawaleen got a freekick which was hit by Bard McFrank. The supporters of Corrawaleen booed when Coalbrook FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Begg Quinnless didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Corrawaleen getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Theodore McGlenn hit a great ball. Donelle Prunty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Brasil Robinson made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Brasil Robinson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Coalbrook FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
