The referee ignored Croithli AFC's protests and gave Andrew Hamilton a yellow card for diving instead. Brennon Willson in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Irving Rogers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shamus McOliver during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 22 minutes into the match, Croithli AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Keeghan McDonald came free, but Irving Rogers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Keeghan McDonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irving Rogers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irving Rogers made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Banban McGlynn sent off a good shot on target. Duff Ramsey hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Boylan McMichel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braon McCollion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Banban McGlynn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Irving Rogers made a huge save. The supporters of Ballydehob AFC booed when Croithli AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Hamilton didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Keeghan McDonald stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Croithli AFC's Shamus McOliver got a free kick in the 54th minute. Croithli AFC's Braon McCollion got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Croithli AFC's Banban Glen Crowe got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Keeghan McDonald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irving Rogers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 74 minutes of play Croithli AFC's Boylan McMichel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Boylan McMichel kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Irving Rogers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keeghan McDonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Croithli AFC's goalkeeper Irving Rogers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Raonall Moran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bree McLian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Ballydehob AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rorey Ramsey came free, but Bairrionn Deans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
