Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Coalbrook FC's goalkeeper Loughlin McJon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ryan Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Loughlin McJon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryleigh Dempsey's shot from long distance in the 35th minute was not bad at all, but Ballyfahy's Eoin Horgan knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Eoin Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donegal McLiam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donegal McLiam in the 43rd minute of play forced Ballyfahy's goalkeeper Eoin Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Toran McSteve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Loughlin McJon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Coalbrook FC's Begley Mullan got a free kick in the 58th minute. Ballyfahy's Eoin Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donegal McLiam in the 61st minute of play. Donelle Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loughlin McJon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bevan Ghee during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Ballyfahy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bevan Ghee to maneuver through the defense. If Donegal McLiam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89thth minute of the game Donelle Prunty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballyfahy's Eoin Horgan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyfahy's zone, Donelle Prunty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eoin Horgan came out of the goal and Donelle Prunty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Donegal McLiam came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Coalbrook FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donegal McLiam couldn't finish the play. If Donelle Prunty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
