Brann Mullan's late challenge caught a Ballyfahy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brann Mullan helped the player get up and apologised. Brann Mullan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Eoin Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brann Mullan in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Brannagh Keegan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballyfahy's Eoin Horgan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Brannagh Keegan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corcreeghagh Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brannagh Keegan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ballyfahy getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Bevan Ghee hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Brigid Frankson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eoin Horgan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 38 minutes of play Corcreeghagh Utd's Brann Mullan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Trien Martyn's late challenge caught a Corcreeghagh Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Trien Martyn hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brannagh Keegan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ballyfahy's Toran McSteve got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ryan Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brannagh Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eoin Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bryan Dalton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brannagh Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Eoin Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Toran John had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Toran McSteve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toran McSteve in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heremon McTommy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eoin Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brannagh Keegan in the 86th minute of play. Toran McSteve's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heremon McTommy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After 93 minutes of play Ballyfahy's Trien Martyn was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Corcreeghagh Utd's zone, Ryan Byrne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heremon McTommy came out of the goal and Ryan Byrne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
