When Ballydehob AFC's Banban McGlynn in 3 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Brasil Robinson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Banban McGlynn might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brasil Robinson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Banban McGlynn ran back to his position shaking his head. Brigid Robinson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Bairrionn Deans made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ballydehob AFC's Brennon Willson got a free kick in the 13th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Ballydehob AFC's Keeghan McDonald nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brasil Robinson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Sheridan in the 23rd minute of play forced Ballydehob AFC's goalkeeper Bairrionn Deans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bairrionn Deans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Sheridan, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Kevin Sheridan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Corrawaleen's Kevin Sheridan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bairrionn Deans. Bairrionn Deans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Corrawaleen's Brasil Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Banban McGlynn in the 37th minute of play. If Banban McGlynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Corrawaleen's goal looked a bit too open when Carson Perth came free, but Brasil Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ballydehob AFC booed when Corrawaleen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derrick Molloy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes in the game, Banban McGlynn dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 47th minute, Keeghan McDonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Keeghan McDonald to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Banban McGlynn got free with Brasil Robinson in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keeghan McDonald in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brasil Robinson saved Corrawaleen from getting behind. Brigid Robinson scored 2-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bairrionn Deans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Corrawaleen's Brasil Robinson got control of the ball when Banban McGlynn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ballydehob AFC's Bairrionn Deans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Sheridan in the 66th minute of play. Bairrionn Deans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brigid Robinson's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Ballydehob AFC's Banban McGlynn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brasil Robinson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Keeghan McDonald left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballydehob AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Brasil Robinson was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Keeghan McDonald capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Keeghan McDonald really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. A collision led to Ballydehob AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Carson Perth hit a great ball.
