Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brannagh Keegan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Heremon McTommy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barhart McTom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boru Keegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brannagh Keegan in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barhart McTom in the 6th minute of play forced Corcreeghagh Utd's goalkeeper Heremon McTommy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herne Cronin in the 7th minute of play forced Corcreeghagh Utd's goalkeeper Heremon McTommy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barhart McTom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heremon McTommy having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Barhart McTom notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Corcreeghagh Utd's Heremon McTommy. Heremon McTommy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barhart McTom scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heremon McTommy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Herne Cronin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heremon McTommy having to interfere. Boru Keegan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Corcreeghagh Utd's Brannagh Keegan in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Result 1-2. Corcreeghagh Utd's Heremon McTommy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herne Cronin in the 31st minute of play. Gortnagroagh's Boru Keegan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Gortnagroagh from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Corcreeghagh Utd booed when Gortnagroagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brendann Willson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heremon McTommy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herne Cronin's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. A collision led to Corcreeghagh Utd getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Reidy Taylor hit a great ball. After the first half Gortnagroagh were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herne Cronin to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gortnagroagh booed when Corcreeghagh Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Dalton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heremon McTommy was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Herne Cronin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Herne Cronin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Heremon McTommy stood somewhat misplaced when Barhart McTom came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 70 minute. With a little luck, Corcreeghagh Utd's Heremon McTommy got control of the ball when Barhart McTom tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 76 played minutes Corcreeghagh Utd got a freekick which was hit by Toran John. Barhart McTom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Corcreeghagh Utd's Bryan Dalton got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Herne Cronin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barhart McTom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Heremon McTommy made a huge save. Rordan Colwell hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute of the match Brigid Frankson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boru Keegan skillfully saved the ball. Brannagh Keegan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boru Keegan having to interfere. If Brannagh Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boru Keegan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brannagh Keegan went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The Gortnagroagh players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
