Ardloy's supporters rose to their feet, but Gehan Taylor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Irving Rogers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Braon McCollion got free in front of the goal in the 70th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Boyce McDecland was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Croithli AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Braon McCollion hit a great ball. If Rorey Ramsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ardloy's Fionntán Dalton got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Bree McLian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
