Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) Ballyeighan's Beachain McOliver started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Trien Martyn's late challenge caught a Ballyeighan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trien Martyn helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ballyeighan booed when Ballyfahy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trien Martyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryan Byrne took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rylee Moran. Rylee Moran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 12th minute Braonain Cronin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eoin Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Toran McSteve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beachain McOliver during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 20 minutes into the match, Ballyeighan's Beachain McOliver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eoin Horgan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Beachain McOliver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballyeighan's supporters rose to their feet, but Beachain McOliver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eoin Horgan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, Ballyfahy's goal looked a bit too open when Cathal Dempsey came free, but Eoin Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryan Byrne's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Rylee Moran skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Art McVictor hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Cathal Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballyeighan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cathal Dempsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toran McSteve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rylee Moran having to interfere. Rylee Moran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryan Byrne went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Toran McSteve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rylee Moran came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballyfahy's Ryan Byrne. But to his dismay, Ryan Byrne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Beachain McOliver got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Ballyfahy's Eoin Horgan got control of the ball when Cathal Dempsey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beachain McOliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Eoin Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toran McSteve struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Rylee Moran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballyfahy. Beachain McOliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Eoin Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Ballyfahy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bevan Ghee to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Ballyeighan's Beachain McOliver ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eoin Horgan. Eoin Horgan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Eoin Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beachain McOliver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cathal Dempsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eoin Horgan having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Ballyfahy got a freekick which was hit by Declan McPaul. Beachain McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
