Mack Hutton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Braeden McSteve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Mack Hutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Breffni McJohn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Greencastle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Breffni McJohn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mack Hutton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Irving McTom made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Harkin McPhil sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, Castleore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Breffni McJohn came free, but Mack Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Breffni McJohn to make the kick off. Breffni McJohn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Greencastle FC's Braeden McSteve nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mack Hutton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 57 minutes into the match, Greencastle FC's Braeden McSteve sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mack Hutton narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
