Donavan O'Down came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Greencastle FC's Braeden McSteve. But to his dismay, Braeden McSteve quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braeden McSteve in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donavan O'Down prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Breffni McJohn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donavan O'Down having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Braeden McSteve in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donavan O'Down saved Clifferna Utd from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Clifferna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Braeden McSteve came free, but Donavan O'Down reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dermod Murphy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Irving McTom came out and tried to block the shot, but Dermod Murphy slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Riddoc Savic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Irving McTom. Greencastle FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Riddoc Savic was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Dermod Murphy 's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irving McTom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Clifferna Utd's Donavan O'Down played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braeden McSteve in the 37th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Clifferna Utd's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Breffni McJohn fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 62 played minutes Clifferna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Ainnle MaCollin. Braeden McSteve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donavan O'Down having to interfere. Braeden McSteve's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Donavan O'Down skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
