Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Phelim Deery took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bradigan Dempsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bressail McFrank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Upperchurch's Berchan Dalton in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Downies Utd's goalie prevented a goal. Bradigan Dempsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bressail McFrank having to interfere. Denny Dalton hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A hard shot 17 in the game by Berchan Dalton from a close distance when the talented Baoithin Byrne managed to make a qualified save. Downies Utd's players were relieved. Bressail McFrank showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torna Keegan in the 18th minute of the match. Leonard Silke kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Killian Hughes kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ros Kelly was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Phelim Deery managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Upperchurch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phelim Deery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Upperchurch's Berchan Dalton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baoithin Byrne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Berchan Dalton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Baoithin Byrne made a huge save. After 32 played minutes Upperchurch got a freekick which was hit by Tipraite Delaney. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Downies Utd's goalkeeper Baoithin Byrne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Downies Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Phelim Deery came free, but Baoithin Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phelim Deery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berchan Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baoithin Byrne having to interfere. Baoithin Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phelim Deery in the 44th minute of play. With a little luck, Downies Utd's Baoithin Byrne got control of the ball when Berchan Dalton tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torna Keegan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bradigan Dempsey might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bressail McFrank. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bradigan Dempsey ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phelim Deery in the 57th minute of play forced Downies Utd's goalkeeper Baoithin Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Killian Hughes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. Killian Hughes kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Torna Keegan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bressail McFrank having to interfere. Downies Utd's Baoithin Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berchan Dalton in the 67th minute of play. Berchan Dalton scored 1-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baoithin Byrne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torna Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bressail McFrank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Berchan Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berchan Dalton might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baoithin Byrne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berchan Dalton ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Upperchurch's goal looked a bit too open when Torna Keegan came free, but Bressail McFrank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Silke hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Upperchurch's Berchan Dalton got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denny Dalton hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Tipraite Delaney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Downies Utd's Ros Kelly couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 98th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Upperchurch. Upperchurch's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
