The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Killian Hughes during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Killian Hughes hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Cregganbaun's Troy Mulvihill in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Upperchurch's goalie prevented a goal. Bressail McFrank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy Mulvihill, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Berchan Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phelim Deery struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Torrian Dunne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Upperchurch. Berchan Dalton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Torrian Dunne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cregganbaun's zone, Berchan Dalton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torrian Dunne came out of the goal and Berchan Dalton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Phelim Deery managed to get in a good position for a shot. Upperchurch's supporters rose to their feet, but Phelim Deery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torrian Dunne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torrian Dunne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Silke in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

56 minutes into the match, Cregganbaun's goal looked a bit too open when Phelim Deery came free, but Torrian Dunne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Berchan Dalton notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Cregganbaun's Torrian Dunne. Torrian Dunne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 66 minutes, Troy Mulvihill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cregganbaun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Troy Mulvihill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Upperchurch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phelim Deery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keely Doherty charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Keely Doherty the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Upperchurch booed when Cregganbaun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keely Doherty didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Upperchurch's goalkeeper Bressail McFrank had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hickey Silke. If Troy Mulvihill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cregganbaun's Torrian Dunne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berchan Dalton in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Cregganbaun's Troy Mulvihill ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bressail McFrank. Bressail McFrank yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Upperchurch were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cregganbaun to leave the ground with a draw.
