Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Phelim Deery took the kick off in the first half of the match. Leonard Horgan kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When Killian Hughes fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Upperchurch's protests and gave Killian Hughes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Upperchurch getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Killian Hughes hit a great ball. Phelim Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breannain Crowe having to interfere. Bairre Palmer charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bairre Palmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rampart's Bairre Palmer got a free kick in the 11th minute. Tipraite Delaney took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Breannain Crowe. Rampart's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Upperchurch's Berchan Dalton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breannain Crowe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, Rampart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barley Brennan to maneuver through the defense. Breannain Crowe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phelim Deery in the 15th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barley Brennan during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Phelim Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breannain Crowe having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Upperchurch's zone, Colmcille Sheridan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bressail McFrank came out of the goal and Colmcille Sheridan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Tiarnan McNamee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Upperchurch's Bressail McFrank got control of the ball when Blaire Horgan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Phelim Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breannain Crowe having to interfere. In the 34th minute Colmcille Sheridan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bressail McFrank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Rampart got a freekick which was hit by Barclay Crowe. Phelim Deery struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Breannain Crowe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Upperchurch. Cleary Cooney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bressail McFrank having to interfere. Colmcille Sheridan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bressail McFrank read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Colmcille Sheridan was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phelim Deery in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Breannain Crowe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute, Babe McDonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bressail McFrank stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Colmcille Sheridan's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Breannain Crowe made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Berchan Dalton sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Rampart's goalkeeper Breannain Crowe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berchan Dalton. If Blaire Horgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes Upperchurch got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Silke. Blaire Horgan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berchan Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breannain Crowe having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Upperchurch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Silke to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Blaire Horgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bressail McFrank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, one of Upperchurch:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Rampart a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Barclay Crowe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Upperchurch's Bressail McFrank. 1-1. Bressail McFrank took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colmcille Sheridan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rampart's Breannain Crowe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Rampart from getting a goal against them. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
