When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Torna Hamilton sped through Duneen FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baiscend Kelly. 27 minutes into the match, Duneen FC's goalkeeper Baiscend Kelly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beineon Colwell. With a little luck, Duneen FC's Baiscend Kelly got control of the ball when Beineon Colwell tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Kilsallagh booed when Duneen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bola Ferguson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baiscend Kelly was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from David McNamara. Duneen FC's Baiscend Kelly proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Duneen FC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Baiscend Kelly managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Kilsallagh's Torna Hamilton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

Baiscend Kelly came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Kilsallagh's Torna Hamilton. But to his dismay, Torna Hamilton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. During the 62nd minute of the match Bola Ferguson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bola Ferguson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. There was no doubt that Kilsallagh were the better team. Kilsallagh's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
