Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fionn Lester made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Paud Gollogley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dillon Hutton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Logan Gollogley made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, Kilgolagh Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Fionn Lester came free, but Reilley Walker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Oliver Cassin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reilley Walker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevis McBrand in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Logan Gollogley saved Killina from getting behind. The supporters of Killina booed when Kilgolagh Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ravan McIan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Fionn Lester got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Kilgolagh Utd's Logan Gollogley threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paud Gollogley, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Kilgolagh Utd defense, Oliver Cassin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reilley Walker. The Kilgolagh Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reilley Walker should have stopped the shot. When Killina's Fionn Lester in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kilgolagh Utd's goalie prevented a goal. Oliver Cassin struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Reilley Walker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killina. After 46 played minutes Kilgolagh Utd got a freekick which was hit by Braeden Barrett. The Kilgolagh Utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Killina were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paud Gollogley made a kick off. Kilgolagh Utd's Reilley Walker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breen Lester in the 54th minute of play. Braeden Barrett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dillon Hutton struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Logan Gollogley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilgolagh Utd. Breen Lester hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Logan Gollogley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paud Gollogley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Kilgolagh Utd's Paud Gollogley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Logan Gollogley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, Killina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breen Lester to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Jonathan McDecland led 67 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Killina's Logan Gollogley became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1. Paud Gollogley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Logan Gollogley having to interfere. Paud Gollogley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Logan Gollogley having to make a save. Dillon Hutton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kilgolagh Utd's zone, Oliver Cassin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reilley Walker came out of the goal and Oliver Cassin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Killina walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
