Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roland McJames got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes Kirikee Utd got a freekick which was hit by Declan McLiam. Kieran Benson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiarnan Scully showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Kirikee Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Declan McLiam to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, Meenaward Utd's Lochlainn Holt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kieran Benson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 16th minute, Cianán McAaron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiarnan Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland McJames scored 2-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tirloch McOliver, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Kirikee Utd booed when Meenaward Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aban Benson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Roland McJames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tirloch McOliver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland McJames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tirloch McOliver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-2 became the score in the 44th minute when Roland McJames elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Roland McJames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tirloch McOliver having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiarnan Scully stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Lochlainn Holt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meenaward Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lochlainn Holt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 59 minutes of play, Meenaward Utd's Lochlainn Holt made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kieran Benson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Hewney McNamara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 64 minutes, Timmons Tierney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirikee Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timmons Tierney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Roland McJames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kirikee Utd's Timmons Tierney got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, Meenaward Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aban Benson to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Aengus Dimson in the 71st minute really tested Tirloch McOliver's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Timmons Tierney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Tirloch McOliver made a huge save. Lochlainn Holt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Benson having to interfere. With a little luck, Meenaward Utd's Tirloch McOliver got control of the ball when Timmons Tierney tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kieran Benson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lochlainn Holt in the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Lochlainn Holt notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Kirikee Utd's Kieran Benson. Kieran Benson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roland McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
