Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Raymun Taylor made a precise shot to the right of Baran Robinson. Baunrosmore's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a little luck, Baunrosmore's Baran Robinson got control of the ball when Raymun Taylor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute Beamard Cronin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baran Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Gortnasate defense, Donoghue Jameson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bradagain Lavine. The Gortnasate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bradagain Lavine should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Gortnasate's Binean Silke got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 15 played minutes, Baunrosmore's Bard Deans shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bradagain Lavine came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baunrosmore reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donoghue Jameson in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bradagain Lavine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After taking down the ball on Baunrosmore's corner Bard Deans fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bradagain Lavine quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donoghue Jameson in the 20th minute of play forced Gortnasate's goalkeeper Bradagain Lavine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Baunrosmore got a freekick which was hit by Barley Hunt. Raymun Taylor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Baran Robinson made a huge save. A hard, long distance shot from Brendon McLiam flew over the goal. Baran Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendon McLiam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bantry Murphy charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bantry Murphy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bard Deans shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donoghue Jameson was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gortnasate's goalkeeper Bradagain Lavine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Baunrosmore getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bard Deans hit a great ball. Baran Silke kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Baran Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beamard Cronin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barley Hunt during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baunrosmore's Gavin McNamee got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baunrosmore's Baran Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baran Silke in the 75th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Baunrosmore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Críostóir Grant to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match Críostóir McJohnny sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baran Robinson skillfully saved the ball. Baunrosmore's Baran Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baran Silke in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Baran Silke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baran Robinson. Baunrosmore's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baran Silke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Baunrosmore's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
