Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Patrick Gallagher started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 9 minutes into the match, Brackagh's Donlevy McFrank sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brak Beckett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrick Gallagher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Nolyn Hutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Donlevy McFrank notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Coolnareen AFC's Brak Beckett. Brak Beckett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute Andrew Cassin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brak Beckett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Coolnareen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Conleth Dimson. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Andrew Cassin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brackagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrew Cassin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brak Beckett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donlevy McFrank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Andrew Cassin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cullan Beckett charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Brak Beckett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donlevy McFrank went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Coolnareen AFC's Brak Beckett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Cassin in the 60th minute of play. Herygh McIan's late challenge caught a Coolnareen AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herygh McIan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coolnareen AFC's goalkeeper Brak Beckett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Patrick Gallagher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coolnareen AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 74 minutes into the match, Coolnareen AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Cassin came free, but Brak Beckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Andrew Cassin came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Brackagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrew Cassin couldn't finish the play. After 81 minutes, Buach Ghee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brackagh and the Coolnareen AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Coolnareen AFC booed when Brackagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Buach Ghee didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Coolnareen AFC's Duff Gillmour got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Brak Beckett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Brady Coyle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coolnareen AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brackagh the free kick. After 88 played minutes Coolnareen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brady Coyle. Brak Beckett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Cassin in the 91st minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brackagh had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
