Spectators: 6778 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bairthmead Crowe kicked off to start the match. Braddon Gillmour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aengus Keegan in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Torrey McSteven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braddon Gillmour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braddon Gillmour came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Tullykinroe's Aengus Keegan. But to his dismay, Aengus Keegan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Tawnylea's goal looked a bit too open when Aengus Keegan came free, but Braddon Gillmour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braddon Gillmour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torrey McSteven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Torrey McSteven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torrey McSteven's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braddon Gillmour read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Ron McIan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piers Byrne shot from long distance in the 28th minute, but Fionntán McBjarton was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 29th match minute, Tullykinroe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ron McIan to maneuver through the defense. Braddon Gillmour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aengus Keegan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Torrey McSteven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tawnylea getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Brannagh Hamilton hit a great ball. Torrey McSteven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braddon Gillmour having to interfere. Braddon Gillmour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torrey McSteven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torrey McSteven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Braddon Gillmour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Tawnylea's Binne Dillon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fionntán McBjarton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Tullykinroe getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ron McIan hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Bairthmead Crowe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fionntán McBjarton. Tullykinroe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bairthmead Crowe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Scott Dalton hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Aengus Keegan came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Tullykinroe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aengus Keegan couldn't finish the play. Torrey McSteven was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Tullykinroe's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Aengus Keegan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braddon Gillmour having to interfere. Scott Dalton kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Tawnylea's goal looked a bit too open when Torrey McSteven came free, but Braddon Gillmour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When David Ramsey came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Tawnylea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Ramsey couldn't finish the play. Aengus Keegan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Braddon Gillmour made a huge save. Torrey McSteven was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Kevin Robinson hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. A hard shot 87 in the game by Aengus Keegan from a close distance when the talented Braddon Gillmour managed to make a qualified save. Tawnylea's players were relieved. Torrey McSteven was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Aengus Keegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tullykinroe's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
