The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dermot Jameson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Berke McOliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Nolyn Hutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Devlin Moran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cork's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brackagh the free kick. In the 64th match minute, Cork was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Devlin Moran to maneuver through the defense. Andrew Cassin struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Aubrey McPaul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brackagh. After a defensive mix-up in Brackagh's zone, Dermot Jameson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nolyn Hutton came out of the goal and Dermot Jameson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Brackagh getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Herygh McIan hit a great ball. Phelim McWill hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Dermot Jameson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cork's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dermot Jameson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cork's Fintan Duggan got a free kick in the 85th minute. Bedilia Deery hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
