Nolyn Hutton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Torrey McSteven's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nolyn Hutton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Brackagh's zone, Aengus Keegan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nolyn Hutton came out of the goal and Aengus Keegan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Cullan Beckett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th match minute, Brackagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Buach Ghee to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Brackagh's Andrew Cassin got a free kick in the 14th minute. Brackagh's Donlevy McFrank got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tullykinroe's Fionntán McBjarton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donlevy McFrank in the 22nd minute of play. Cullan Beckett hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Aengus Keegan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nolyn Hutton having to interfere. Fionntán McBjarton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cullan Beckett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Brackagh's zone, Breasal Savic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nolyn Hutton came out of the goal and Breasal Savic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Tullykinroe booed when Brackagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herygh McIan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tullykinroe's Dawayne Tracy got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Aengus Keegan came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Tullykinroe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aengus Keegan couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aengus Keegan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrew Cassin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Fionntán McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Aengus Keegan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tullykinroe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aengus Keegan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tullykinroe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aengus Keegan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aengus Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 70 minutes, Aengus Keegan made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Brackagh's Nolyn Hutton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Aengus Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tullykinroe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Andrew Cassin scored to the left of an out of position Fionntán McBjarton, making the score, 2-1. Fionntán McBjarton made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Donlevy McFrank sent off a good shot on target. When Brackagh's Andrew Cassin in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tullykinroe's goalie prevented a goal. Fionntán McBjarton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrew Cassin's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Tullykinroe's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
