Cloghoge AFC's Dewain McFrank got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donahue McAaron's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Pierce O'Down skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Troy Todd charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Troy Todd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cloghglass FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fiachra McWilliam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Dewain McFrank got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierce O'Down stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dewain McFrank's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Dewain McFrank who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cloghglass FC's Pierce O'Down was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Cloghglass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dewain McFrank came free, but Pierce O'Down reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fiachra McWilliam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Terrence Hutton was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
