Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pierson Palmer kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Lack's goal looked a bit too open when Bailey Gallagher came free, but Brigid Martyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blanche McPaul struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Antaine McJames didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lack. 7 minutes into the match, Corglass's Bailey Gallagher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brigid Martyn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute Irwin Ferguson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid Martyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blanche McPaul hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Antaine McJames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierson Palmer in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bailey Gallagher in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brigid Martyn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Corglass getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Boynton Lester hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Blanche McPaul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 30 minutes, Bailey Gallagher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corglass's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bailey Gallagher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Colm Callaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Irwin Ferguson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Irwin Ferguson made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Colm Callaghan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lack fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a little luck, Lack's Brigid Martyn got control of the ball when Bailey Gallagher tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bailey Gallaghers short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Brigid Martyn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Irwin Ferguson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Corglass's goalkeeper Antaine McJames, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 minutes of play, Lack's Colm Callaghan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antaine McJames was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Lack booed when Corglass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bailey Gallagher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bailey Gallagher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irwin Ferguson in the 74th minute of play forced Lack's goalkeeper Brigid Martyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Pierson Palmer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antaine McJames was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel McPeter during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lack booed when Corglass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel McPeter didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lack fans cheered their team off the field, for while Corglass had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
