After a rather tough play, Grousehall's Kevis McPaul got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th match minute, Grousehall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevis McPaul to maneuver through the defense. Bailey Gallagher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irwin Ferguson in the 16th minute of play forced Grousehall's goalkeeper Payton Ferguson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Payton Ferguson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irwin Ferguson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antaine McJames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taveon McBjarton, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. One of Grousehall:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Corglass:s goal. When Bailey Gallagher came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Corglass fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bailey Gallagher couldn't finish the play. The Grousehall players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Corglass were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Taveon McBjarton to strike the kick off in the second half. Antaine McJames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aodh McJames in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes, Breandan Cronin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corglass and the Grousehall players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Grousehall booed when Corglass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breandan Cronin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aodh McJames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Antaine McJames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scott McAlphie's late challenge caught a Corglass's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Scott McAlphie helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Grousehall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scott McAlphie to maneuver through the defense. Payton Ferguson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bailey Gallagher in the 84th minute. Irwin Ferguson charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Irwin Ferguson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, Corglass was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irwin Ferguson to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bailey Gallagher got free with Payton Ferguson in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the game, Grousehall's Taveon McBjarton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antaine McJames made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4.
