In the 34th minute of the match Bivadas Glen Crowe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davie Frankson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Davie Frankson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aodh McJames's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. A collision led to Hermitage FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Donagh Benson hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Aodh McJames made a precise shot to the right of Davie Frankson. Hermitage FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A collision led to Grousehall getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Bedilia Gillmour hit a great ball. Abbot Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Payton Ferguson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Grousehall were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donn Robinson to make the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Grousehall:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hermitage FC:s goal. Payton Ferguson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donn Robinson in the 57th minute of the match. Donn Robinson charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donn Robinson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hermitage FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Donn Robinson hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Taveon McBjarton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davie Frankson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abbot Crowe came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Hermitage FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abbot Crowe couldn't finish the play. Aodh McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benen Matthews during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Taveon McBjarton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grousehall's supporters rose to their feet, but Taveon McBjarton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davie Frankson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Hermitage FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Grousehall's performance. The match ended with a win for Grousehall.
