Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jarlath Moran got the match started through his kick off. After 5 minutes of play, Sheskinapoll's Bree McDecland made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brian Johnson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 7th match minute, Leansaghane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Callaghan to maneuver through the defense. Brian Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keegan Palmer in the 13th minute of play. Baoithin Sheridan's late challenge caught a Leansaghane's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baoithin Sheridan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Leansaghane booed when Sheskinapoll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baoithin Sheridan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Keegan Palmer made a precise shot to the right of Brian Johnson. Leansaghane's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Scott Mulvihill was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Baoithin Gough capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baoithin Gough really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. If Baoithin Gough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Sheskinapoll's Scott Mulvihill got control of the ball when Baoithin Gough tried to sneak it across the goal line. Keegan Palmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Johnson having to interfere. Denny Caffey kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The Leansaghane players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sheskinapoll were winning 1-2.
The wind increased when Baoithin Gough made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Leansaghane's Baoithin Gough nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Scott Mulvihill made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 57th minute of the game Leon McBrand made a throw-in which Iarla McStephen played forward. After 59 minutes of play Leansaghane's Denny Caffey was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Sheskinapoll booed when Leansaghane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denny Caffey didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 61st minute, when Sheskinapoll's Baoithin Sheridan after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Brian Johnson in Leansaghane's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Iarla McStephen's late challenge caught a Sheskinapoll's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iarla McStephen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Leansaghane's Iarla McStephen got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Bairthmead Rutherford fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leansaghane's protests and gave Bairthmead Rutherford a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, Sheskinapoll's Brian Johnson threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jarlath Moran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leon McBrand kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Sheskinapoll's Alfred Matthews shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Brian Johnson but with some difficulty. Baoithin Gough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scott Mulvihill having to interfere. A collision led to Sheskinapoll getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Baoithin Sheridan hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match, Bree McDecland tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Brian Johnson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 81 played minutes Sheskinapoll got a freekick which was hit by Jarlath Moran. After 83 played minutes Leansaghane got a freekick which was hit by Bedilia Sheridan. 85 minutes into the match, Jarlath Moran dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Brian Johnson, 2-3. A collision led to Leansaghane getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bedilia Sheridan hit a great ball. Brian Johnson made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Keegan Palmer sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute of the match Alfred Matthews sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brian Johnson skillfully saved the ball. When the match was over Sheskinapoll could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Leansaghane throughout the match.
