After a rather tough play, Grousehall's Cashel Barrett got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 8 played minutes Grousehall got a freekick which was hit by Aodh McJames. Payton Ferguson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lavally's Donagh Walker shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Aban McFrancise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aodh McJames in the 21st minute of the match. Donagh Walker struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Payton Ferguson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavally. After 42 played minutes Lavally got a freekick which was hit by Boland Grant. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Donagh Walker made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Grousehall got a freekick which was hit by Aodh McJames. Taveon McBjarton hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Lou Robinson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Payton Ferguson. Grousehall's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 59 played minutes Lavally got a freekick which was hit by Gerald McPeter. When Taveon McBjarton fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Grousehall's Payton Ferguson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donagh Walker in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Cashel Barrett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grousehall's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lavally the free kick. After 87 played minutes Grousehall got a freekick which was hit by Cashel Barrett. Kevis McPaul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Aban McFrancise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Payton Ferguson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boland Grant, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lavally had played much better football throughout.
