Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Irwin Ferguson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Reginald Ryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irwin Ferguson in the 4th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Ravan Ramsey took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Antaine McJames to make any attempt to save it. Abban McLaughlin hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Antaine McJames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ravan Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Clontarf booed when Corglass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barin McWillie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ravan Ramsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ravan Ramsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antaine McJames having to interfere. Corglass's Antaine McJames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ravan Ramsey in the 29th minute of play. Bailey Gallagher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Irwin Ferguson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corglass's supporters crossed their fingers, but Irwin Ferguson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Clontarf's goal looked a bit too open when Irwin Ferguson came free, but Reginald Ryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ravan Ramsey to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Irwin Ferguson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reginald Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Banan Caffrey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clontarf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irwin Ferguson in the 61st minute of play forced Clontarf's goalkeeper Reginald Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Banan Caffrey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antaine McJames was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Antaine McJames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Banan Caffrey in the 72nd minute of the match. Banan Caffrey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bailey Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antaine McJames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ravan Ramsey in the 82nd minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Clontarf's goal looked a bit too open when Irwin Ferguson came free, but Reginald Ryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ravan Ramsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antaine McJames having to interfere. When Bailey Gallagher came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Corglass fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bailey Gallagher couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Irwin Ferguson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reginald Ryan was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
