Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donn Robinson to make the kick off. Davie Frankson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ravan Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Davie Frankson made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Banan Caffrey sent off a good shot on target. When Banan Caffrey came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Clontarf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Banan Caffrey couldn't finish the play. After 63 minutes, Ravan Ramsey made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Hermitage FC's Davie Frankson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th match minute, Clontarf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bow Deans to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ravan Ramsey in the 69th minute of play forced Hermitage FC's goalkeeper Davie Frankson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Banan Caffrey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Davie Frankson made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Hermitage FC's Benen Matthews got a free kick in the 78th minute.
