Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Finian Ryan made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Beltany McAaron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dermot McLiam who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Roy McCready when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ferdia Hutton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdia Hutton struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Derin McWilliam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Owning. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beltany McAaron in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Derin McWilliam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roy McCready made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dermot McLiam in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beltany McAaron in the 26th minute of play forced Capnagower AFC's goalkeeper Derin McWilliam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilian McBrand scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roy McCready, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Finian Ryan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Owning's Roy McCready was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute Bannan Johnson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derin McWilliam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Owning's goalkeeper Roy McCready had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dermot McLiam. Bannan Johnson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Owning booed when Capnagower AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beagan Coyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beltany McAaron was the one to do the kick off. If Beltany McAaron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derin McWilliam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beltany McAaron in the 55th minute of play. Owning's attack was well implemented in the 58th minute, but when Beltany McAaron was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. A collision led to Capnagower AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Sean Ramsey hit a great ball. Dermot McLiam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Capnagower AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Beltany McAaron came free, but Derin McWilliam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teagan John kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Bradon McLiam in the 70th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Roy McCready's left hand side. 72 minutes into the game, Blathmac Horgan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Owning's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capnagower AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Owning's Blathmac Horgan got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Derin McWilliam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beltany McAaron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdia Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derin McWilliam having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Ferdia Hutton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Derin McWilliam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Capnagower AFC's Derin McWilliam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Capnagower AFC from getting a goal against them. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
