Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Binean McBrand took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colmcille Dimson in the 4th minute of play forced Lackamore AFC's goalkeeper Barry Glen Crowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lackamore AFC's Barry Glen Crowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adamnan Dimson in the 6th minute of play. Barry Glen Crowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scot Morrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Scot Morrison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caherpeak AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Scot Morrison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barry Glen Crowe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Torran McLaughlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lackamore AFC's Bearchan Caffrey got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Johnson during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Binean McBrand got free with Braddon Kelly in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adamnan Dimson struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Barry Glen Crowe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caherpeak AFC. 36 minutes into the match, Lackamore AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Scot Morrison came free, but Barry Glen Crowe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lackamore AFC booed when Caherpeak AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiachra Scully didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teris Hutton charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teris Hutton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lackamore AFC's Bowen McCready got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Colmcille Dimson might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barry Glen Crowe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Colmcille Dimson ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Bearchan Caffrey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braddon Kelly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Caherpeak AFC's Fiachra Scully suffered a concussion after 52 minutes and had to leave the field. Bearchan Caffrey charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bearchan Caffrey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bearchan Caffrey kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, Caherpeak AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teris Hutton to maneuver through the defense. Binean McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breanainn Walker hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Caherpeak AFC's Braddon Kelly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Binean McBrand in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Caherpeak AFC's Torran McLaughlin got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the match, Lackamore AFC's goalkeeper Barry Glen Crowe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Scot Morrison. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Binean McBrand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lackamore AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Binean McBrand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance. After having played for 96 minutes, Scot Morrison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caherpeak AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Scot Morrison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
