After 39 played minutes, Burtonport's Binne Ramsey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Todd McWill came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Burtonport reached it. Doney Hunt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todd McWill having to interfere.

Todd McWill didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Burtonport's Douglas Coyle shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Nolyn Horgan made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Daithi Hughes sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Burtonport's goalkeeper Nolyn Horgan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daithi Hughes. Bearnad Branson charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Bailey McFrank was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nolyn Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ardán McSteve, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Douglas Coyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bunglass's Barram Lester got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Douglas Coyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Burtonport's Nolyn Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ardán McSteve in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Bunglass was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shiel McLian to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Coyle in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Todd McWill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Daithi Hughes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Binne Ramsey's late challenge caught a Bunglass's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Binne Ramsey helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Burtonport got a freekick which was hit by Binne Ramsey. Burtonport's Nolyn Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Burtonport from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Berrin Callaghan made a precise shot to the right of Nolyn Horgan. Burtonport's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
