Blathmacc McPhilip breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Blathmacc McPhilip managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Effickmore Utd's Bourns Morrison fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 5 played minutes Culmullin Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bradain Rogers. Culmullin Utd's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bradaigh Tierney 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Bourns Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blathmacc McPhilip having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Bradley Willson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bourns Morrison didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 28th minute. Effickmore Utd's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 33 minutes, Leon O'Neill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Culmullin Utd and the Effickmore Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Culmullin Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon O'Neill to maneuver through the defense. Baiscend McBrandon, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Culmullin Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bourns Morrison was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Effickmore Utd's Bradaigh Tierney got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blathmacc McPhilip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradaigh Tierney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes Culmullin Utd got a freekick which was hit by Reamann McFrank. Blathmacc McPhilip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradaigh Tierney, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Culmullin Utd's Blathmacc McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bourns Morrison in the 78th minute of play. If Bourns Morrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Herygh Hunt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beothach Deery in the 84th minute of play. Beothach Deery struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Herygh Hunt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Culmullin Utd. Bourns Morrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Blathmacc McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Bourns Morrison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Effickmore Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bourns Morrison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enda John hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. Effickmore Utd's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
