Tomfarney Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Devlin Colwell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eoin Cassin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Phelan Byrne when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donavon McFrank in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beanon McWilliam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomfarney Utd's Beanon McWilliam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flann McSteve in the 35th minute of play. Beanon McWilliam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flann McSteve's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Brecc Palmer hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flann McSteve stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Tomfarney Utd's zone, Flann McSteve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beanon McWilliam came out of the goal and Flann McSteve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomfarney Utd's Beanon McWilliam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Tomfarney Utd from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Donavon McFrank got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bressal McJohn charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bressal McJohn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
