The supporters of Tomfarney Utd booed when Bunglass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ardán McSteve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daithi Hughes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Beanon McWilliam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Daithi Hughes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beanon McWilliam was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ardán McSteve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Devlin Colwell suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shiel McLian during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Todd McWill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eoin Cassin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brecc Palmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Bunglass's Daithi Hughes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beanon McWilliam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 39th minute, Daithi Hughes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beanon McWilliam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ardán McSteve in the 41st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ardán McSteve's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beanon McWilliam was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Daithi Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eoin Cassin made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Ardán McSteve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bunglass's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ardán McSteve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Bunglass booed when Tomfarney Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brecc Palmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Tomfarney Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Ardán McSteve came free, but Beanon McWilliam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daithi Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ardán McSteve in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beanon McWilliam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ardán McSteve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Brecc Palmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beanon McWilliam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ardán McSteve in the 87th minute of play. Tomfarney Utd's Beanon McWilliam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daithi Hughes in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 minutes, Berrin Callaghan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bunglass and the Tomfarney Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Bunglass was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berrin Callaghan to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bunglass fully deserved thier win.
