With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bourns Morrison in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aubrey McTom saved Ballynasrah FC from getting behind. Herygh Hunt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarlath Frankson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd match minute, Effickmore Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enda John to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Jarlath Frankson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballynasrah FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarlath Frankson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herygh Hunt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Gearard Hamilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herygh Hunt was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Jarlath Frankson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bradaigh Tierney made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fionntán Moran in the 55th minute of play forced Effickmore Utd's goalkeeper Herygh Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jarlath Frankson came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ballynasrah FC fans jumped to their feet. In the 67th minute, Bourns Morrison made a precise shot to the right of Aubrey McTom. Ballynasrah FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
