Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Beothach Deery took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Flann McSteve who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Culmullin Utd's Blathmacc McPhilip was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flann McSteve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blathmacc McPhilip having to interfere. Flann McSteve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Blathmacc McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flann McSteve in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blathmacc McPhilip saved Culmullin Utd from getting behind. In the 13th minute Flann McSteve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blathmacc McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Conleth McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Flann McSteve in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Cragg's Donavon McFrank in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Culmullin Utd's goalie prevented a goal. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Culmullin Utd! Tyrone Doherty placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The audience was convinced that Flann McSteve's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blathmacc McPhilip was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 34 played minutes Culmullin Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bradain Rogers. Phelan Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradain Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phelan Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beothach Deery in the 37th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Flann McSteve made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Beothach Deery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phelan Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beothach Deery took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Phelan Byrne. Phelan Byrne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 59 played minutes Culmullin Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bradain Rogers. In the 61st minute, Flann McSteve got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Flann McSteve took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Blathmacc McPhilip to make any attempt to save it. In the 68th minute, Flann McSteve got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Culmullin Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Donavon McFrank came free, but Blathmacc McPhilip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flann McSteve came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Blathmacc McPhilip could save by the left post. Flann McSteve was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Culmullin Utd getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Donlan O'Down hit a great ball. Flann McSteve who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Blathmacc McPhilip when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Flann McSteve put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Blathmacc McPhilip. If Flann McSteve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute of the match Cragg got a corner. Culmullin Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bradain Gillmour ran over to the corner to take the kick. Flann McSteve was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 97th minute. Cragg's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match was over Cragg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Culmullin Utd throughout the match.
